Matrix Multiplication

__Week of January 8 - 12__

**Monday**: No school (Inclement weather day)

**Tuesday**: Review basic matrix operations; find determinants of 2 x 2 and 3 x 3 matrices.

Solutions to matrix multiplication assignment.

**Wednesday**: More practice with determinants and applications of determinants. Notes and practice assignment with key.

Quiz tomorrow:)

**Thursday**: Begin Matrix Inverses and Solving Matrix Equations

**Friday**: More Matrix Equations. Writing and Solving Systems of Equations. Notes and Examples here.

__Week of January 22 - 26__

Matrix Test will be on Tuesday. Don't forget your graphing calculator/AAA batteries!

**Monday**: Solutions to test review

**Tuesday**: Great test results, everyone! Let's keep the momentum as we go through the semester:)

**Wednesday**: Intro to trigonometry. Vocabulary is very important, pay attention and do all practice assignments, please. Here are the notes and key to today's homework. We will complete additional practice tomorrow and then quiz on Friday.

**Thursday**: Solutions to today's practice problems. Quiz tomorrow.

__Week of January 29 - February 2__

**Monday**: Begin the unit circle. Here is a nice visual for step - by - step recap of what we learned in class today. Please evaluate all sin, cos and tan functions on today's worksheet. We will pick up with the reciprocal functions tomorrow.

**Tuesday**: Homework solutions evaluating using the unit circle. We will have a timed (10 minute) memorization quiz on Thursday. More practice on Wednesday:)

Remember, it's only necessary to memorize Quadrant I of the unit circle. Quadrant II is a reflection across the y - axis. Look at the diagram below to see how you can reflect again across the x -axis and then again across the y - axis to complete all 4 quadrants (with the exception of the signs).

**Friday**: Begin right triangle trigonometry

__Week of February 5 - 9__

**Monday**: Extra Practice with right triangle trig

**Tuesday**: Quiz over right triangle trig and then review for test. Review solutions are here.

**Wednesday**: Test on the Unit Circle and Right Triangle Trigonometry

**Thursday**: Begin graphing trig functions. Here are today's notes, worked out examples and homework solutions.

**Friday**: Extra practice graphing sine and cosine

__Week of February 12 - 16__

**Monday**: Graphing all transformations on sine and cosine. Notes and homework solutions are here. Sorry, but I made an error on problem #6. The phase shift should be -3pi/4.

**Tuesday**: Graphs of the reciprocal functions, secant and cosecant. Solutions to the classwork are here.

**Wednesday**: Graphing tangent and cotangent

**Thursday**: Extra practice with tan and cot. Begin test review. Notes and solutions are here.
