Week of January 29 - February 2
Monday: Begin the unit circle. Here is a nice visual for step - by - step recap of what we learned in class today. Please evaluate all sin, cos and tan functions on today's worksheet. We will pick up with the reciprocal functions tomorrow.
Tuesday: Homework solutions evaluating using the unit circle. We will have a timed (10 minute) memorization quiz on Thursday. More practice on Wednesday:)
Here are a blank and completed copy of the unit circle for you to use as at home:
Blank unit circle
Completed unit circle
Remember, it's only necessary to memorize Quadrant I of the unit circle. Quadrant II is a reflection across the y - axis. Look at the diagram below to see how you can reflect again across the x -axis and then again across the y - axis to complete all 4 quadrants (with the exception of the signs).
Wednesday: Homework solutions and key to key to unit circle practice 1 given out on Monday
Thursday: Quiz over unit circle
Friday: Begin right triangle trigonometry
Week of February 5 - 9
Monday: Extra Practice with right triangle trig
Tuesday: Quiz over right triangle trig and then review for test. Review solutions are here.
