Week of March 16 - 20
Monday: Ok, everyone. This is a first for me. Please feel free to offer feedback as to how this process might be improved upon as we go through the week.
If you have not already done so, please join Remind, text 81010, and then register for our class using the code @yegprecalc.
In order to prepare for factoring and solving trig equations, we will reviewing solving linear and quadratic equations (from Algebra 2). Please view the powerpoint and then complete solving problems from worksheet posted. This document was left out of your packet , so please be resourceful and simply copy problems onto your own paper.
Review of Factoring and Solving Equations, Practice Worksheet Solving with Worked out solutions
Tuesday: We are extending our factoring skills to factoring trigonometric expressions
Watch: Factoring Trig Expressions
Practice Factoring with Trig
Wednesday: We begin our online learning with solving trig equations. We will be using inverses to solve which means we will be observing domain restrictions. I would like for you to use a calculator throughout this unit. Please give values in radian form unless otherwise directed.
Trig Inverse Functions Domain and Range
